| Too much time on my hands... I hate having power cords running all over the place while working on the car. So I fabbed up a light-weight power strip / light-bar to hang from the hood. One power cord runs down the hood prop keeping the engine bay well lit and free of clutter. There are three (3) lights: (1) A 40 watt halogen bulb in a swivel mount
(2) A 25 watt flourescent tube; and
(3) A 60 watt can light which may be placed anywhere needed. 
The bar is quickly mounted by inserting two hooks into the hood bracing. Weighing only a coupled of pounds, it barely deflects the aluminim hood. 
Extra lighting above and around the car keep all work areas well lit and free of power cords. 
Like I said ... I have too much time on my hands. gordo
